Best excursion so far out of all my cruises! Everyone at Bowcar was nice and informative, from the young man who picked us up, the young lady who did our reservation & gave us our keys, to the guy who gave instructions on how to operate the buggy and restaurant recommendations. We rented the buggy for 6 hours and made our own itinerary. We had the best time and plan to visit again, this time we’ll stay at a resort.
We really enjoyed our Buggy rental. From the time we arrived, all the employees took great care in helping us. They picked us up, helped in loading wheelchair and walker for my parents and loaded them in Buggy as well. We highly recommend this for anyone but especially those who can't do alot of waking. We rented the gps and were given a map with attraction. Great way to see the island.
On time, you get exactly what you are promised, not a ceowded place and always someone availanle to help you. The service was exceptional. Bowcar is the name of the company. Is the only thing i found trouble finding to see who would pick us up at the port. But they were 3 minutes ahead of time and the process super smooth
We rented a bowcar while we were on a Carnival Cruise that stopped in Nassau. It was by far the best day of our 7 day trip! We rented the 6 person buggy for 4 hours, and after 2 hours wished we had rented for longer! It was a great way to see the island, and get away from the crowds of the crusie ship. Pickup was on time, right in front of the Cruise Pier, and we were at their facility in under 10 minutes. Our group of 2 adults, 3 teens and a 3 year old fit just fine in the 6 person buggy, and the back had tons of space for all of our bags/towels/stroller etc. We took the drive out west to Jaws Beach which was awesome! Only about 6-8 other people there, super calm crystal clear water for swimming, and enough fish by the old pier posts to have decent snorkeling. We wish we had grabbed sandwiches and drinks to bring with us, as there are no facilites or shops whatsoever. On our way back to Nassau, we stopped at the Big Yard fish fry for some Bahamian fried food! Had the whole fried snapper, conch fritters, and chicken wings, and everything was awesome. Shout out to Elvis who watched the car for us right out front. When we retured the Bowcar, we asked to be dropped off at the Pirate Museum instead of the pier. Mr. Rusty who was our main contact all day dropped us off and said he'd double check to make sure we didnt leave anything. While we were in the museum, one of the museum staff brought us our 3 year old's pacifier that Mr Rusty found in the car and drove back to drop off for us! Service like that speaks for itself! Thanks to all the Bowcar staff for such a great day. We hope to see you all again very soon.
The employees are extremely friendly and professional. As well as knowledgeable and helpful. The ATV’s are very new and clean. If you have the international plan on your cell phone, your GPS will work perfectly the entire time. Go to the suggested places the employees map out for you. If you want to hit everything rent for more than one day, we struggled a little bit with driving on the opposite side of the road but by the end of the day we had it down.
Everyone are so nice. Specially the driver who pick us up and drop us off, the local people there are nice too they show us where is everyone at! If I come back to Bahamas we will definitely do it again
