Kayaking through the Mangroves

Great experience!
My Rotaract Club, the Rotaract Club of East Nassau did a kayaking tour on Saturday March 19th 2022, and it was an awesome experience! Thank you to True and her team, our experience was nothing short of amazing! We had a slight hick up with booking in the beginning (not the company's fault), but True was very accommodating and understanding! We had two groups that went out and toured the mangroves where we were educated on the types of mangroves that can be found in Bone Fish National Park, the purpose of the mangroves in the park, what their advantages are in the park etc... Our Tour guide was Nathan, friendly and funny guy, he made the experience fun and exciting! I would definitely do it again! If you have kids, and they are younger than 5 years, I do not recommend this activity for them, as the pond's water source comes directly from the ocean. So there are times when the tide is really low and sometimes the tide is very high and the current is super strong! So a younger kid such as a toddler would not be able to paddle their way against the current. But this is definitely an activity the family would love, a girls trip activity, guys trip, couples etc... 10/10 absolutely recommend!

We truly enjoyed our kayaking experience. It was our first time and we left as pros! Our tour guide Nathan was professional and did such a wonderful job teaching us about the different kinds of mangroves and their importance. It was fun gaining knowledge while learning a new thing. I was afraid at first because I don't really know how to swim, but they put you in life jackets, and the water was about waist high. The weather and peaceful sounds of nature put the icing on the cake. I highly recommend.

I had a wonderful time with my friends! Nathan was our instructor, he was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. We not only got to kayak but we learned a lot about the mangroves and their ecosystem. I would definitely recommend this tour and I cannot wait to go again!

We really enjoyed and recommend this relaxing and interesting activity. The place is beautiful and kayak is the perfect way to explore it. The guide was super nice and gave lots of interesting information about mangroves and their ecosystem.
Amazing nature experience

It was amazing experience.
A guide took me the spot in the park, a guide person gave me a short lesson how to paddle since it was forst time for me to do kayaking.
Once we started kayaking, I noticed that we were in the nature. It was very quiet excepting the airplane noise. I heard some birds sounds or nature sound.
The nature lecture was very interesting. I could understand overall of the mangrove life cycle or the nature of Bahama.
I spent the fun time and relaxing time both.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and learned a lot about local environmental initiatives. My guide was fantastic and had a lot of patience in teaching me how to control my kayak.

Andrew was an excellent guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciated the info he gave us on the birds and marine life. We saw beautiful birds, fish, crab, jellyfish, snails and mangroves on our tour. The water was very calm and relaxing. Bring a waterproof bag to keep your belongings dry just in case there are showers. There were a few mosquitos towards the end of the trip so you may want some insect repellent.

We had a wonderful time. We enjoy getting off the beaten path and this did it. So different from the rest of the island. Andrew was an amazing and knowledgeable guide!

Insightful and interesting tour of the ecosystem. More of a biology lesson than a kayaking trip but we enjoyed it.
