Fantastic tour

Had a fantastic time, our guide Jeremy was incredibly knowledgeable of the island and very helpful. If possible ask to tour with him
Good time and experience

The guys were all great.
Informative trip and sightseeing on the way to the snorkeling. Nice landmarks and historical context regarding slave history, development of the country and areas of nassau.
Thankful that we were the last trip of the day because the snorkeling part was definitely a struggle for a first timer, but the guys were convinced on not letting us waste our time and money by not getting the full experience.
They were patient and wanted to make sure I got out there by any means. Snorkel equipment, life vest and flipper fins were provided but when they saw I was uncomfortable in the flipper fins, they swapped out my vest for a life jacket and had me ditch the flipper fins so that I was comfortable.
They were more than accommodating and very patient and helpful and I appreciate them for the experience.
15/10 MUST SEE!

We had such an incredible time thanks to Marvin, we will certainly come back and do this again! We highly recommend that you participate in this tour!

Marvin picked us up right on time with a friendly smile and attitude that cannot be matched. We were the only ones who booked that day so it ended up being a private tour. As he drove us to our destination, he began telling us a bunch of neat info about the Bahamas. We stopped by the natural caves and he walked us inside and explained the history of the pirates that inhabited them.

Once we arrived at Clifton Heritage Park, Marvin checked us in and personally bought us some fish food to enhance the experience. I thought that was so kind and unexpected! He then made sure we were in good hands with our swim/dive tour guides (we didn't catch their names). The snorkeling adventure itself was one of the coolest experiences we've ever had! Between the fish, the underwater statutes, and the sunken plane, there was so much to see.

Marvin continued to provide detailed information and stories on the way back, and was kind enough to drop us off at our residence, rather than the drop off point. I cannot express enough how grateful we are for Marvin and our swim guides, and how spectacular this day was!
Once in a lifetime!

Jeremy informed us of so much on the Land portion of the tour, I wish I had the pictures of inside the cave but I only have videos that are a little long to upload but he did an amazing job. The Sea portion was breathtaking. The current was so so strong though so thankfully the guides Stevfano, Dom & the guys had to pull us out as they swam. I wish I got more pictures of the underwater art installations but it’s something to consider as I would definitely do this again. It was beautiful from the fish swimming next to us, to the coral reefs & the color of the water. Definitely something people should take the time out to see forsure! ❤️
Had a blast snorkeling and wandering into caves

We had such a great time,
Our guide was really nice and knew a lot of history about the area.
It was nice to get off the beaten path of town and to see Clifton which is actually a national park in the Bahamas.
One we got there we met our two snorkel guides
Stephan and Dominic who were super friendly and let us set the pace for our snorkel hour. The tide was a little rough that day and they kept checking in with us to make sure we felt safe and weren’t too tired to make the swim back.
Our drive back we stopped at the caves and even got to climb inside.
Our guide gave us a little more historical back round on the first settlers that lived here and it was so awesome to see in person.
We also wanted to go back to town so they dropped us off at a different location which was nice.
I wish I could remember our guides name,
I think it was Jeremy but we didn’t so many things over this past week I wish I would have wrote the review sooner.
Thank you so much for such a great time
Best experience ever!

My husband and I booked this excursion for our cruise and it was the most wonderful experience we’ve ever had. Our tour guide Jeremy was on time and knew so much about the island! We’ve been snorkeling in Hawaii and it still doesn’t compare to how amazing this experience was. Jeremy and the workers at the snorkeling park were so loving and welcoming, and it made us feel super comfortable. I don’t know how to swim and the men were so patient with me and were guiding me across the water. It was only us two snorkeling which made it more personal. We would definitely do it all over again!

Note: If you’re on a cruise definitely make sure you book it in the morning. We booked it in the afternoon and weren’t able to go into the caves since our departure was at 4:30pm, but even without the caves our experience was a memorable one!

Marvin was a great guide. Very knowledgeable in local history. Snorkeling was good once we got past the rough waves and seaweed! But we blame that on weather.
Great!

We had a wonderful time and learned so much about the island and it's former/current inhabitants from our driver Joseph Ford and heritage your guide Vernita. The snorkel guys were welcoming and helpful ensuring a safe and gorgeous snorkel. A must do
Jeremy is a great tour guide on a great tour!

The trip was interesting with lots of history and facts about the island. The caves were fascinating, and the snorkeling was awesome.

A must see

The Ocean Atlas statue is a must see if you’re in Nassau. The largest underwater sculpture in the world and super impressive.
Jeremy was our land tour guide / driver, he was great and the really interesting history when walking through the caves. The sea tour was the main event for us to see the statues and the snorkel guides were really patient and friendly. Ensured we all had time to take the photos and videos we wanted.
Great tour/experience!

Enjoyable snorkel

Marvin collected us from the hotel to drive us to the bat cave and the Clifton National Park. There we got snorkeling gear and another guide swam with us out. They were all super nice, helpful and kind. I highly recommend the experience.
Great way to start your Bahamas vacation!

This was such a fun tour! We learned a ton about Nassau that we never would've learned if we had spent all of our time on Paradise Island. Our tour guide was very personable and made the experience all the better. The snorkeling portion of the tour was also nice. The statues are amazing! Snorkel gear wasn't great, so I'd suggest bringing your own if you have it. All in all, we had an awesome experoence and would recommend taking this tour as you kick off your vacation in the Bahamas. There's definitely some places we saw that we will be going back to later.
A Great Value & Total Delight!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend and I booked this tour and we're so happy we did! Joseph Ford, our driver and guide, was AMAZING!!!!!! Can't say enough good things about this man. Warm, professional, courteous and knowledgeable, he was such a pleasure to be with from the time he picked us up until the return trip home that I was sad to say goodbye. He also provided us with deep information about the history of Clifton Heritage, Nassau, New Providence, and the islands of the Bahamas overall. We gave him a very large tip, and I hope you do as well.

The snorkeling experience was beautiful, exciting and relaxing all at the same time (only in the Bahamas!) but BE CAREFUL: when the divers provide your snorkeling equipment, it's imperative to spend at least 4 minutes washing out the goggles/lenses (which are cleaned with Dawn dishwashing liquid) or your eyes will sting horribly. Really wash them out!

The lunch provided -- simple baked chicken with peas and rice and potato salad -- was absolutely scrumptious.

We had a wonderful time, and the price was great too. Highly recommend!
I didn’t want to leave!

My first time snorkeling and it was the most amazing experience of my life! Beautiful and unique views inside the water, the sculptures are breathtaking and mixing so well with all fishes (we saw a stingray)!
Our driver Marvin shared a little of the Bahamas histories and songs!
The water was calm and warm. The instructor was calm and patient.
My ship was leaving too soon and we couldn’t enjoy more as I wish. I definitely recommend snorkeling to see the Ocean Atlas the biggest sculpture underwater!
Good and not-so-good

Our host, Jeremy, was great. He knew a lot about the island and answered all of our questions, even the dumb ones. The snorkeling did not work out for us, though. I don't swim, but I've snorkeled twice before, including once in Australia. My wife is a swimmer and has snorkeled at least three times.

The first problem came with the snorkeling equipment. The fins they gave to my wife were too small, and although she complained, they insisted the fins would fit better once she got in the water.

The second problem came as we moved to the water. I noticed a few pieces of broken glass on the beach as I walked barefoot to put on my equipment.

The snorkeling site is several yards out in the water (I'm guessing 70 or 80), and although that isn't much for a strong swimmer, it's challenging for non-swimmers and novices, especially with the current that we had that day.

The young guides who assisted with the snorkeling seemed to have done a great job with the four others from our group, but they didn't do much to see to our concerns. They were about halfway out to the snorkeling site by the time I got in the water. I went out about chest-high in the water and decided to return to the beach. My wife got a little farther out and decided she didn't want to fight the current.

And the guides did not check on why we did not join the group.

Bottom line, the land portion of the tour was fine. The snorkeling would be best for good swimmers who don't mind going a ways off the beach.
