A tiny slice of Paradise in Nassau

I was on a weekend cruise from Miami and was trying to figure out something to do in Nassau on our second day. I was lucky to find this excursion for my family which included toddlers and teens. The boat ride to Pearl Island was very relaxing with beautiful scenery. The boat was big enough for guests to sit down, at least in my excursion. It was a 30 minute ride. The island was very picturesque. The water was every amazing hue of blue and green. The palm tress and even the structures built on the island were just out of a movie. It was very private, everyone could spread out and it was very relaxing. There were many lounge chairs, sofas and canopies to sit under. There were a few water mats, a couple of kayaks and paddle board. They also had some sand toys for the little ones. These items were limited but when I went there were few people on the island. The food was alright. Not five stars but I did enjoy the chicken drumsticks and the kids were happy with chicken strips and fries. The outside bar area and the bartender, Andrew were the BEST. He mixed cocktails for everyone with happiness and i felt so relaxed.

Nice but simple experience

The experience was nice to hang out on the beach. There isn’t very much shade, so expect to sit in the sun for the most part, u less you get lucky to find shade. Lunch was Bahamian chicken, fried fish, rice, cole slaw, and tea. It was tasty!

First time for my wife and kids to snorkel, was the perfect trip for it. The lunch and beach were equally amazing!

What a beautiful island, we had so much fun in the water and lunch was amazing! Everyone was so nice and helpful. I want to come back and stay in the private cabana and have a butler for the day! Highly recommended!

That's a truly highlight in Nassau. A small paradise with awesome food and great staff. And the ocean ...just amazing. A must do in Nassau! I can't wait to be back.

We booked the swimming with pigs experience because it looked like a memorable adventure. The visit on pearl island was lovely, great views from the lighthouse, we tried kayaking and paddle boarding for the first time (there was no shortage of kayaks). Lunch was yummy- my only complaint was I’d assume lunch came with some sort of drink, but it didn’t. Drinks weren’t terribly expensive though.
The swimming with pigs was a fantastic experience. My daughter loved it. The guides were entertaining and fun.

We had fun hanging on the beach. You must grab shaded area as soon as you get there, run to reserve SHADE!!! Not a lot of room to Kayak! The paddle boards were not available as the water was a bit rough the morning we were there. Our lunch was better than I expected. It was good. We did not snorkel. This was fun but a one and done excursion.. We will choose another excursion our next trip to Nassau, but glad we visited Pearl Island, just no reason to go back a second time.
Very relaxing day

This excursion started out on the negative side as our boat was an hour late. And once we got to the island, it was crowded with cruise ship people. But they left fairly quickly after our arrival as we came from paradise island and could stay longer. After the majority of them left it was a very relaxing time for me and my husband. We found a great area under the umbrella with hardly anyone around us. Enjoyed the very good lunch of chicken, beans & rice, fish bites and cole slaw. The bar staff was very friendly and courteous and fun! The beach area was pretty small but it was nice. We also went up into the lighthouse there which had an awesome view. We left feeling we had a great day there.

Really nice day, easy check in and smooth boat rides to and from the island. Lunch was very good as well. Only small complaint was that we wish there were more areas to get out of the sun for a bit, other than that it was a really nice day. The crew and staff were exceptional as well, Q is the best.
Outdated and underwhelming

Very dated/run down island. The views were great and the water ok. Needs lots of cleaning and updates to make it look like the promo pictures. We were only allowed access to 1/2 the island as it looked like there was construction going on. Hopefully they’ll update what we were allowed to access next. The beach is very small. Only a few kayaks and two feathered beach mats in the water. The food was the best part, bbq chicken legs, rice & beans and fried fish were the highlight. The disappointment was the bar area that was right by the only swimming area/beach. The music that was being played was loud and explicit rap. Wasn’t the island music that would have been appropriate to play in the setting. Good get away, could have been much better. Staff didn’t seem to care much about the guests. Snorkeling was only 30 min and right off the side of the island.

A decent excursion, would probably be better with kids. There was not much beach or swimming space, basically no water space to paddle board or kayak. The bars, lunch, and chair space was nice but many chairs had rips. The water also had a good amount of trash floating in it. The views were very nice, especially at the top of the lighthouse and the boat rides there and back were fast and fun.

First it was a beautiful island. When we got off the boat, everyone was trying to figure out where to go, we sat near the food pavillon at first then moved to the other side of the island ( much better). The bar on the other side offered soft drinks and water and the bar near the food just had mixed drinks..When it was our time to eat which was 1230 pm, the line had formed with about 50 people and limited seating. They give small portions of fried fish, bbq chicken wing and grilled veg and rice. Anyway, I would not pick this excursion again. My husband liked it more only because it was not a hot day.
